A full-text database with up to ten years financial information for 130,000 public and private UK companies.
Key features: find companies in a particular industry, find UK company reports including key financials, create company mailing lists and peer analyses.

Primarily a source for newspapers but also contains company information. Useful for finding global company information. Click on companies/markets at the top of the Factiva screen, then click on the company link.
Key features: Charted 5-year key financial results for Listed Companies (Sales, Income, Employees), and 3-year key financial results for Top Unlisted US Companies; peer comparison; ratio reports; quick links to the latest news on the company.

BSC contains primarily full-text journals but does also have a company information search page. Click the "company information" tab along the top of BSC, then search by name of company, name of parent company, ticker, or keyword. Also under the More tab along the top of BSC you can find a link to company profiles.

Excellent resources listed here. I saw in another post that your library has Lexis Library for legislation, case law, journal articles and commentaries, so I figured you might also offer LexisNexis Corporate Affiliations company directory as a business resource to your WBS students. I don’t see it listed here, but it would be perfect for financial and company information and a great addition to your key e-resources.
